Hello – My Name is Doug Chaffin. I grew up in a small town in south Alabama, graduated from the University of Alabama in 1994 with a degree in Civil Engineering, and moved to Colorado Springs with my wife Pam in 1998.

I worked for 10 years for one of the largest engineering and consulting firms in the world. I had some good days and bad days but, for the most part the experience was great, I made a lot of friends and learned a lot.

In 2005 I decided to have a go at running my own business. I decided I could do the work and keep the profits to myself, so I started a small engineering/consulting firm and ran it from the computer in my guest bedroom.

The work grew and the business grew until we had several employees and a downtown office. Great right…well, it didn’t take long to figure out that employees, health insurance, benefits, time sheets and trying to keep a business growing takes time and a lot of work.

The work was fine but the time was killing me. I had a new born, a wife and a life that was being neglected. I simply could not find a balance that worked on both ends and I was really struggling. I know that recessions are bad things but some good always come from bad situations. Construction was one of, if not, the hardest hit industries by the recession. There was simply no new projects coming in and the back log was drying up. I did what people do and started looking for work or anything I could do to “make it by”. The normal avenues were not available because people were being let go and businesses were shutting down almost daily.

So I started searching on the Internet for business opportunities or some way to make money online. I filtered through a lot of junk, scams and get rich schemes before I found the current Internet-based Direct Marketing Education Company that I have been with since May 2008.

I didn’t know a thing about running an online businesses and Internet marketing but, after checking under the hood, I knew that I could learn, grow and succeed with the help of this team.

Now, not only has this business replaced my income and it continues to grow monthly, I am Using all that I learned about Internet Marketing from this education company to teach others how to create “Their Own” successful online business. My team and I are currently looking for serious entrepreneurs who want to a Home Based Business, learn how to make money online and be mentored by a Top Earner.
